The Galt House Hotel’s Christmas in July activities tent is sure to delight the young and the young at heart. Learn about plans, and sign up to win tickets for the New Christmas at The Galt House Hotel extravaganza coming this November with a re-imagined, more interactive Kalightoscope, and the ALL NEW attraction featuring the Snow Fairy Castle. You can even buy your tickets early this year as part of our Christmas in July sale to get a special savings up to $20.00.

Activities planned include:

An elf float, featuring Santa’s elf, “Mint”, will make it’s debut at the festival this year. Kids will get some fun treats and it’s the perfect photo opportunity with Mint, so bring your camera!
Temporary tattoos, along with other give-aways will be available.
Cool down from the summer sun in our wading pool.

The Science of Fun! Activities Tent

July 3rd & 4th – 5pm-9pm

Fun learning activities include: science-center-activities-tent

It’s Attractive! – Nothing sticks more than a magnet. This station allows children to explore the world of magnetism, developing a better understanding of physical objects and their properties.

Water World – Water introduces children to the wonderful world of bubbles, physics, chemistry and even the environment through opportunities to investigate, manipulate and yes….get wet.

Shark Sensory – Investigate the extreme senses of sharks and examine a real shark specimen up close!

Winter in Narnia – Explore the origins of snowflakes and view the beauty behind crystals.

Science Matters!

Free Kids Inflatable Games!

Daily 5pm-9:30pm

Crazy Caterpillar: Kids love this caterpillar shaped obstacle course. Two slides, two climbs, and a maze of pop-ups provide plenty of fun.

Dragon’s Castle: Battle your way through twists and turns, huge alligators and bulging obstacles. Avoid the giant dragon by climbing up into the castle and escape the dragon’s wrath by sliding out through the draw bridge.

Dual Lane Slide: This slide has two sliding lanes to keep the crowd moving!

Power Paddlers: This large inflatable lagoon has mini paddler boats for children to paddle around in and have some fun!

Putt-Putt: Nine Holes! Nine uniquely different holes; five obstacles including a Bridge, Lighthouse, Wheel & Wormhole.

Tiger Belly Bounce: Kids will enjoy jumping on the tiger’s belly for hours!

Twin Spin: Four participants climb aboard, buckle the belts, pull the handle, and off you go! The harder you pump the handles, the faster you go.
