Sponsorship Facts
Louisville Waterfront Development Corporation (WDC) invites you to partner with us in the development of the region’s most successful July 4th celebration. This two-day festival is the largest event of the summer taking place at the award winning Louisville Waterfront Park. Quality national entertainment attracts well over 150,000 people and extensive media coverage. Thanks to the generosity of our corporate sponsors, admission is free and open to everyone.
Region’s Largest July 4th Celebration
With two days of family fun and recreation, more than 150,000 people are expected to attend the festival on July 3 & 4. Live music and entertainment will be featured including nationally renowned artists. The celebration will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display on both evenings.
Extensive Promotional Campaign
Partners will benefit from a marketing campaign comprising television and radio, print, electronic and outdoor media. Partners also have an opportunity to benefit from point of purchase advertising in regional retail outlets. The festival also receives enormous amounts of publicity from all local media outlets.
Wide Demographic Exposure
The Festival appeals to people of all ages and from every part of the community & region. Great food, the region’s highest quality entertainment, family activities and fireworks attract visitors from near and far. Market research during the 2005 festival indicated that the representation of visitors to the event was nearly identical to the population at large.
Private Hospitality Area
Sponsors have exclusive access to a private viewing area on the Great Lawn designed to host our corporate partners and their guests in a casual and fun atmosphere.
